Practice Summary
Lauren is an associate in the corporate group. She has experience acting for domestic and international clients in a variety of sectors, including the grocery, restaurant, personal service and hospitality sectors. Lauren also has experience advising on marketing and contest requirements across all sectors.
While at law school, Lauren worked at the Canadian Bar Association developing national and international mining regulations for Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. She also worked at the Queen’s University Business Law Clinic providing Pro Bono work to small businesses and entrepreneurs. She received the Agnes Lefas Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence in the area of international business law.
Prior to joining Sotos, Lauren completed certificates in international business law at the Bader International Study Center in the UK and in European Union law at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Lauren joined Sotos as a summer student in 2019 and completed her articles with the firm in 2020/2021.
