Canadian Franchise Association Legal Day
The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Ontario region Legal Day is taking place on March 2nd, and Sotos LLP partners John Sotos and John Yiokaris will be there representing the firm.
John Sotos will be leading a workshop on mass franchise disputes with Derry Millar from WeirFoulds LLP. The workshop will explore the why, when and how of class action and group litigation, franchisee association initiatives, group arbitrations and their growing importance in franchising.
John Yiokaris will be leading a roundtable entitled “Top Ten Disclosure Issues”.
The CFA is the national voice for Canadian franchising, representing almost 500 franchise systems and the professionals who support the industry. The Legal Day conference is being held March 2 at the Old Mill in Toronto. The brochure can be viewed here.
