Sotos LLP partners recognised among Lexology Index Thought Leaders in Franchising

Sotos LLP is proud to announce that 4 of its lawyers have been recognised as Thought Leaders in the Lexology Index Thought Leaders: Franchising report, representing a significant share of the leading franchising practitioners in Canada.

Within this global field, Canada is represented by only 11 Thought Leaders in franchising, and four of them are from Sotos:

The 2025 Lexology Index Thought Leaders: Franchising guide profiles 162 franchising lawyers worldwide, from 104 firms across 32 countries. These practitioners are selected following detailed research, including more than 7,000 data points analysed, over 130 research submissions from leading firms, and extensive interviews with market participants. Only 55 percent of nominees were ultimately chosen for inclusion. Lexology notes that Thought Leaders are individuals who have performed “especially well,” representing only around 25–30 percent of all listed practitioners in the Lexology Index for franchising.
