Rachel Eatough

Rachel is an articling student for the 2026–2027 term, working primarily with the Commercial Litigation and Class Actions groups. Having previously summered at Sotos, she gained experience on a broad range of litigation matters spanning multiple practice areas.

While attending Osgoode Hall Law School, Rachel volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada at the Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution, where she contributed to publications on mandatory mediation practices in Canada and civil practice directions for remote proceedings aimed at assisting self-represented litigants. She also served as a peer mentor with the Osgoode Women’s Network and participated in the Osgoode Hall Law School Student Ambassador Program. In her final year, Rachel completed a study abroad term at the University of Copenhagen.

Prior to law school, Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Waterloo, where she double majored in Legal Studies and Sociology. She graduated first in her class and was a member of the University’s Women’s Varsity Volleyball Team.
