Franchise Times magazine has named eight of Sotos LLP’s lawyers to its esteemed list of Legal Eagles in 2014. The annual Legal Eagles list recognizes the best attorneys in franchising, as nominated by their clients and peers and selected after additional research by the Franchise Times editorial board.
Sotos LLP has more lawyers on the list than any other law firm in Canada. Returning Sotos lawyers include:
- Allan Dick – Litigation
- Jean-Marc Leclerc – Litigation
- John Sotos – Transactional
- David Sterns – Litigation
- Arthur Trebilcock – Transactional
- Peter Viitre – Transactional
- John Yiokaris – Transactional
New to the Legal Eagles list this year is Louis Alexopoulos. Louis has been assisting his clients in franchising and franchise-related matters since the 1980s, including real estate and leasing, banking and finance, and day-to-day business issues.
Regarding John Sotos, the article specifically notes:
“John Sotos is one of the deans of the Canadian franchise bar, having practiced franchise law as a specialty for over 30 years. His work is local, regional, national and international in scope.”
The Franchise Times Legal Eagles 2014 confirms what Sotos LLP’s clients have known for a long time: that while many franchise lawyers talk a good game, we’re busy delivering results.
