Practice Focus

Lou’s practice benefits from, and draws on his expertise in, the complementary disciplines of business and law. His practice focuses on commercial transactions with a real estate base, secured lending transactions and trusts and estates. He provides guidance to business clients in all phases of development from start-ups to mature businesses. He advises clients in acquisitions, divestitures and inter-generational transfers and planning.

• Secretary and counsel to a TSX and NASDAQ listed biotechnology company
• Sits as a director on numerous private companies
• Acts as trustee for a number of family trusts with other co-trustees, both individual and institutional
