Expertise
Partner with Sotos LLP, practicing in the area of business law with an
emphasis on franchising, licensing, and distribution of goods as well
as all aspects of franchise and master franchise agreements, disclosure
documents, franchisee associations, and the acquisition and sale of
businesses. John advises franchisors, franchisees, and franchisee associations on all aspects of franchise legal matters and has authored materials on franchising and disclosure documents for the Canadian Franchise Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
Organizations
John is an active member of both the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising and the Canadian Franchise Association. He is also a member of the Legal and Legislative Committee of the Canadian Franchise Association.
Seminars and Publications
He has spoken at numerous seminars on licensing, distribution and franchising conducted by the Ontario government, Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Franchise Association.
