Member of the American Bar Association’s Forum Committee on Franchising. Represented Canada on the Franchise Industry Advisory Committee of the North American Securities Administrators Association (1985-1993). Participated in drafting 1985 and 1993 revisions to the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular and Guidelines, which have been adopted by all U.S. jurisdictions that regulate franchise sales. General Counsel to the Canadian Franchise Association (1983-1993).
