Expertise
Mr. Alexopoulos' practice benefits from, and draws on his expertise in, the complementary disciplines of business and law. His practice focuses on commercial transactions with a real estate base, secured lending transactions and trusts and estates.
He provides guidance to business clients in all phases of development from start-ups to mature businesses. He advises clients in acquisitions, divestitures and inter-generational transfers and planning.
Organizations
He is a member of several professional and industry organizations, including the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations, the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers Association where he served as president, the Toronto Board of Trade having served on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee and the Hellenic Canadian Board of Trade. Mr. Alexopoulos served the community at large as a Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
Lou is secretary and counsel to a TSX-listed biotechnology company and sits as a director on numerous private companies. He also acts as trustee for a number of family trusts with other co-trustees, both individual and institutional.
